HISTORY AND PRESENT OF SYMEC S.A.

Overpopulation and big city crowding, indiscriminate use of human resources and contaminants, have forced man, in order to improve his quality of life and insertion in the environment, to necessarily change his ways. This entails behavioural changes, down to the simplest activities.
This has not escaped SYMEC S.A.. Since 1993 is dedicated to search for solutions for materials recycling, control of hydrocarbons spills, reforestation, rational development of urban centers.
Symec has developed, within biotechnology, the use of micro organisms to accelerate the process of degradation of organic matter in general, in the domestic, commercial, industrial and municipal environment.

SPECIALIZATION AND BACTERIA PRODUCCION

Since 1998 SYMEC S.A. has specialized in the treatment of soils and waters contaminated with hydrocarbons, importing products and technology from the U.S. Starting in 2002 we produce our own bacteria in Argentina, exporting them, together with technology and services to the rest of the world through SYMEC INTERNATIONAL DIVISION, with utmost quality and backup.
Within our product line we have developed, exclusively, Low Temperature Bacteria (psychrophil and extremephil) which degrade hydrocarbons down to 0ºC, even over frozen ground.
The use of these micro organisms makes unnecessary to heat up the material to be degraded, thus reducing substantially the cost of the treatment. We can work the 24 hours of the 365 days of the year on cold zones, such as southern Argentina, the northern parts of America, Europe and Asia. SYMEC is the only world producer of this Low Temperature Bacteria

SYMEC INTERNATIONAL DIVISION

Capitalizing on our experience on different contamination scenario found in Latin America and the development of proprietary products able to function in extreme climatic conditions, we have decided to tackle the world market with our  assisted bioremediation.

We feel that our processes are the most effective and economical tools to reduce hydrocarbons levels below the legal limits in large soil and water volumes. We can achieve this in reasonable treatment times and produce significant environment benefits.
